Are allies allowed to submit work or join the team?
Because the purpose of the zine is to showcase work of community members, allies are not permitted to submit work or join the team. However, they are welcome at all times to promote our zine, as well as read it. The zine will contain information and tips suitable for allies. The best way to be an ally is to raise our voices up and let us be heard.
Do team members get paid for their work?
Regretfully, not at this time. The zine is free, so there is no profit. The team volunteer their services, and we appreciate it!
Do we get paid for submissions?
At this time, we cannot pay anyone.
Will you advertise my business/brand/etc?

Can I donate money to help you kick off the zine?
As the zine grows, a donation button will be added to the website. This will, in time, allow us to participate in giveaways and other things. For now, you can help our graphic artist afford a laptop and photoshop here.
There's something I want to see in your zine, but haven't yet. Can I make suggestions?
Absolutely! We'd love to hear from you! Check out the contact page and fill out the form. Or, if you prefer, you can email ourvoicemagazine@outlook.com, and put "suggestion" in the subject line.
Is the zine family friendly?
Yes. Our material is meant to be informative as much as it is to give us a spotlight. Articles containing sensitive material will have trigger and/or content warnings listed. We want all of our readers safe.
