Please note that before we can accept foreign works, we do need to have team members fluent in English and that language.

Please also note that joining the team is volunteer work at this time. We make no profit, so we cannot pay you.
If you want to be part of our team, you're in the right place! We're currently looking for team members all over the globe. Below are some parts you can play in making this magazine reach full potential, along with the guidelines for each job.
To apply, email to ourvoicemagazine@outlook.com with your information in the body, and the part(s) you wish to play in the subject.
If you are accepted as part of the team, we'll email you back. We will ask for a photo of you for our team member page, but you can opt out. A bio, however will be expected. You do not have to disclose anything you don't want to (we don't want you to out yourself as trans, gay, bi, etc. if you don't want to) but are fully welcome to.
GUIDELINES FOR WRITING EDITORS:
(You will be in charge of editing stories, poems, articles, etc, in the language you're fluent in)

you must be fluent in the language of the pieces you wish to edit

you must be able to edit a piece of writing to make sure it can reach its potential

if you are multilingual, you may choose which language(s) you wish to edit

GUIDELINES FOR GRAPHIC EDITORS:
(You will be in charge of editing the layout of the zine and/or website, including covers and advertisement pages)

you must have knowledge in graphic editing
(this does not mean you need a degree)

you must have a program to use to edit magazine pages, if you are aiming for zine editor
(we cannot provide this for you, sorry.)

If you wish to edit the website, you must know how to navigate and utilize wix.com

GUIDELINES FOR CREATIVE CREW:
(You will in contact with founder and other team members to come up with ideas for each issue, regarding topics and materials)

You must be willing to do research

You must provide fresh ideas to keep the zine interesting

For this reason, you must be able to communicate in English
(If you want to help teach the founder new languages, go for it. He's interested in learning.)

GUIDELINES FOR LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT:
(You will be making sure things don't get lost in translation!)

You must be fluent in English and another language.

You must be good at translating.

GUIDELINES FOR SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATORS:
(You will be in charge of running social media pages like Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook)

You must be able to communicate in English. Multilingual is a plus

You must promote pages, website, magazine, etc.

GUIDELINES FOR RECRUITERS:
(no application necessary)

None. You don't even have to be part of the community to try to get people involved. You can be an ally. Simply follow us on social media and spread the word! Tell your friends, family, anyone you think might be interested! We appreciate your support!
